Well said.

If I may add, lies, deception and force will not win you the embrace of your enemy. Something that many Americans still yet don't realize.

LOST when the local populations refuse to accept the governance of the occupying forces.

I can understand your bitterness, having read several of your posts, but unlike Vietnam IMHO your basic premise here is incorrect. Every poll, every Serviceperson who has been there, now even every visiting politician seems to agree on at least ONE THING. The vast majority of the Iraqi's are GLAD we are there and dont want us to leave. jdn

Yeah. Don't talk to me about swallowing, fella - at least not while you are in bed with American Spirit.

You whine about ‘lives shattered by war’ and about how muslims now hate us, and you talk against the American posture as if having some special monopoly on suffering. Well, you may think you have the monopoly, but I do not respect it regardless of how shot up you were in Nam, or how many of your friggin’ buddies died there. I lost more friends, dear friggin’ friends, and more of my life on 911 than many of you whiners will ever lose in your entire miserable friggin’ lives. I’m still paying for it now some years later and cannot see a day anytime in this earth’s future when I will not be paying for it. So don’t whine to me about your damned suffering, and don’t whine to me about your friggin’ damned sense of loss, and please just drop the damned whining about how muslims are now finally against us that we’ve entered Iraq. They hit us, hit me, before we occupied Iraq. They had hit us repeatedly before even the first Gulf War. They are savages and there is only one way to deal with them and that is to skin and gut them like catfishes!

That is how I see. If that is not kind enough, not "multicultural" enough for you then its just too friggin' bad. You need to stop all this lying and all the sanctimonious, melodramatic blubbering. To me, you all sound just like a bunch of anti-American queers.

No, I do not have kids in Iraq (Thank Heaven!) and will not have any there under any circumstance as long as we continue to live in your fantasyland where there are good muslims who loved us prior to Iraq, but who have turned against us because we are in that country. Not a single one of my children will fight there until we finally admit what is really going on here in America and there in Iraq. When America openly acknowledges the truth about this conflict and begins to fight the savages like they need to be fought, I will pour nearly everything I have left into the effort, just to help my country extract justice from the heads of those who hurt us. 911 has not been avenged and you keep whining as if it never happened. If any damned person needs a clue, fella, it is you. Until the right time comes, I will refuse to willingly risk one drop of blood on your friggin’ queer-inspired politically-correct lies – lies that now govern the entire nation.

Now, you must really get something of a friggin’ clue about my opinions of the friggin’ world, because it would surely help spare your fingers instead of allowing you to type so much CRAP about the world’s opinions being against us. I would find it all laughable if you didn’t inspire so much pathos. You and your ilk spend this little itty biddy bit of time in Nam, your families protected, risking only your own skins, and you and that phony John Kerry actually think you can come preach to me about not having fought when muslims have hit not only my own skin, but that of my wife and kids? There are not sufficient words to express the disgust I hold for you-- all of you.

You need not support the President. That is really quite fine and is not why you nauseate me. I am disgusted here because it is apparent to me I cannot think of any of you as countrymen who despite our differences of opinion are willing to defend our mutually held interests. You folks cannot even see and understand the interests. We lost thousands of lives – lives not of soldiers (who knew the risks to themselves), but lives of regular people, men, women and even children – Americans about whom you NEVER think, whom you NEVER lament, whom NEVER enter your corrupt minds. You spend all this damned time whining about inciting some damned dusty Islamic savages and not one minute about your own countrymen whom these savages have murdered. What friggin’ good are ya? No good at friggin' all.

And you just cannot keep it in your friggin’ brains that we are in the age of nukes and other stuff that now calls to these savages. You keep whining about how we ought to wait, how we ought to let the Europeans run things a bit, how the third world leaders of the UN ought to have control. Well, unlike you, Bush obviously never forgets the nukes, and for that I am grateful. He was decisive and hit the terrorists as soon as he could do it. Clinton sure as hell did no such thing and look where it got us. The muslims still came and they will continue to come until we start gutting their children. So yes, I do think it was good to go into Iraq. It gives me a lot of peace to know that Saddam is one madman who wants to murder us but who will not yet get the chance.

And yes, I do have an idea of what we're going to get out of this when we finally leave and take our wounded and dead with us. We are gonna get a civilized beachhead into inherently savage Islam. That day may be a bit in the distance, but each time an American dies there, the savages who killed him make sure it is gonna happen.

This ain’ friggin’ Nam, where a few Americans got killed relative to the enemy and where liberal pansies still whined us out of the country. The stakes are much MUCH greater, the implications much more dire. What you and Kerry need to do is get some friggin’ reality for a damned change. Nam ain’ made no damned body a king. If you served there, then thanks. But if you think I need to pull a lever for you because you served, go to hell. If you are a liar like Kerry who served, then go to hell regardless of what you think - and do not come back. If you think your opinion on this current war and on suffering trumps mine simply because you plopped slop to troops 30 years ago in Nam, go straight to hell, do not pass go or collect a damned thing--just go straight to friggin’ hell without any hesitation. You are old “has beens” and your service only goes so far. Unlike you, some of us today have wives and children who, from no choice of their own, now find themselves on the front lines of a war that reaches right into our country. Step your dead, whiny, old, fearful asses aside and let us work to defend ourselves.
