I'm sure you have a link

Yeh, to gallup's site.

A year has gone by since we argued the merits of going to war and pretty much everything I said would happen has happened.

Well, I'd disagree with you; perhaps you remember how you went ballistic during the sand storm. But the real point is it isn't over.

When you have a crisis situation, you micro manage it until its out of crisis.

Actually, a competent president doesn't "micromanage" anything (Clinton did, however). A competent president sets broad policy objectives and tells the military, "Handle it, I'll give you everything you need to get the job done". Which is what Bush has done.

I'm not sure a "crisis situation" describes what is happening in Iraq. Certainly, it is a war, and in wars people get killed. But progress is being made daily in returning the Iraqi people to normal lives.

These are just issues you and I disagree on. It is my belief that wars often solve problems, as this one is. A year from now, things will be different. The progress that has been made in the last six months is nothing short of staggering.
