Thanks for passing that to TA, he did come over - investorshub.com
... doesn't have near-term expectations of the zambian contract being resumed, i was wondering about that ... he makes an estimate of 2004 earnings at usd.60/sh or better ... much will depend there on grade and price/carat of Koidu production, these were pretty rich historically ... we should soon see a release on Koidu start-up[?] ... but just the Malawi contract alone is being ignored imho, it's a twelve-year deal with serious revenue, not just potential anymore

swg.to - ah, look at it this morning ..... yes, vindication for the freebie-keeping style, for sure .... thing is though, they're not all eventual winners, the crap component increases greatly in rising sectors, and often you're playing for the very short term something you don't really want to wear ... thinking here of the failed juniors that went dot.com in the tech bubble, even as they rose their absurdity was apparent

Biggest argument in favour of keeping freebies, is the cyclical nature of speckie markets ... seasonal effects, sector cycles, financing/promo rhythms, etc

I could type reams on this subject ... not arguing with you, more arguing with myself, been tossing it back and forth for a long time .... i used to do more freebie-keeping than i do now, still do it with favourites, for instance with xcl my whole plan is to keep building house-money shares ... should have done it with ivn.to, always held my nose with that one, shouldn't have though, it led to leaving money on the table several times .... anyway, core point being - you still have to be selective, filter out the crap ...... well i'm off on a day trip [that could get extended], beautiful day for it here on the wetcoast, luck to all .... cheers

What a great post Russett.
If I had practiced that 1000 share freebie game on some of the no brainers I would be doing better today.

I got one for you.Bottom feeder type woofer. But its one of those smell type stocks like BBT had 3 weeks back . WM- see who is in on the PP. This one looks like it is being set up for a classic bull market special . 66 cents seems possible as an entry point.

UGD- anybody watching this one ? The ground looks very interesting.

MMM- Look at what they are up to.

Watch your asses out there guys. And if you find out some dirt please do not tell us why you exited 4 months after the fact. <GGG>

CBD I got shook out of my swing traders again. But what the heck it keeps me from getting Stupid.

good night all
