the philly polls are open and we are off... one professor at penn already punched in the face by a street guy running around pasting over the opposition signs.. Dr. is at hospital getting treatment... Katz folks got license number of person, car covered with street stickers etc..

another poll place favored Katz voting area.. Machines do not work.. g

Another poll favorite Street will not let poll take who counts voters into the area... local radio stations carrying this live and sending over lawyers to poll place. g

Voting day.. everyone exercising their rights across America. Hope many more do not get injured trying to vote and we find majority of machines work regardless of area within our cities.

got another voting area favorite for Katz folks leaving and not voting,, backed up as only one machine working. g
Wonder who tested and delievered these machines?

I also find it interesting that the contributions for Halliburton and Bectel are ~ 0.1% and 0.3% of the value of the contract.

I always assumed that the effort to make a conflict of interest story out of this was mistakenly aimed at Tarring Bush / Cheney with corruption.

In actuality, these are world class US based construction companies that our government should support in preference to giving the contracts to similar companies based outside the US.
