Buy a stock, write cc's immediately, and look for a decent return if stock gets called or a decent discount if it doesn't. Most I am looking at are not offering premiums worth a damn. Obvioulsy, I want wuality companies in case stock doesnt get called and I own it, but am looking for decent plays maybe 1 - 3 months out at the most. I would prefer to buy and write next month calls or maybe go to 2 months, but will consider lonmger IF the numbers look good. Anybody have any idea's. I figure why just let this cash sit. I can buy, write CC's immediatley and either get called in 4 - 8 weeks and take my profits, or dont get called and get the stock at a discount...and write again...also possibly buy and sell the calls back and forth of opportunity presents. I remember when I last did this, you could find plenty with very nice premiums right off the bat, but now, everything I am looking at, the % is just not there. All suggestions welcome.
