Hawk, a silly warning. They hope to terrorize by fear itself. If Muslims leave, it'll be bad for those cities. If others flee too, that would be a LOT of fun for Jihadis. So far, they've shown they can use box-cutters on people who have been taught and learned not to resist. Now people will be more inclined to resist. I wouldn't fancy a terrorist's chances on an aircraft, with or without a box cutter or even a gun. Any poor passenger who misbehaves even slightly gets an absurd over-reaction these days, with fighter aircraft flying alongside. Somebody smoked in a toilet and there were fighter aircraft along side. Wackoes! I suppose the fighter pilots like some fun and that's more fun than hanging around the hangar. Aircrew are notoriously mindlessly authoritarian so they'd have had some fun too. Passengers are stupidly fearful, so they probably thought it okay. Maybe there is sufficient paranoia in the USA that a lot of people really will flee Washington, Los Angeles and New York. If an Islamic nuke went off in Washington, I would not be surprised to see Mecca go up in a mushroom cloud. And a lot more besides. At some stage, genocidal total war has to be fought in kind for survival. Japan was nuked by the USA and the Islamic Jihad mob should remember that. Dresden was turned to ash. If Osama claimed responsibility for nuking Washington, he'd be signing the death warrant for a LOT of Moslems. Jihad seems to have a lot of Moslem support. Mqurice
