Seems to me most of the references in those articles
refer to events during the 10 year
period preceding the current presidency. For example:

<< Special Agent Wright identified Ashqar’s terrorist links in 1999 and urged his superiors in the FBI to move against him criminally at that time. Instead, the FBI shut down the criminal investigation and attacked Special Agent Wright...>>

The TomPaine link didn't supply any verification for
his speculations and criticized Clinton as well.

My simple point was that if you don't want the government to be proactive about terrorism, then it doesn't make much sense to blame the government for failing to prevent 9/11.

While you're apparently a conspiracy theorist and choose to ascribe heinous motives to decisions that were made both pre and post 9/11, I frankly
haven't the time to research and verify, or refute, what you choose to believe.

We as a nation just need to make up our collective minds.
The war on terrorism cannot possibly be a 5 minute endeavor.
We either take it on proactively or we don't. If we go forward, it's for the long haul.

I am curious as to exactly what you think Bush could have done to prevent 9/11 during the relatively short period of time he had been president.

Exactly what should, or could, Bush have done about Osama?
As I recall reading somewhere, Clinton actually had
a chance to take him into custody, but demurred.

I would think that after years of the policy ascribed to
Clinton in your links, it would have been tough to
do an effective about face in time.
