IMHO, Bush, unlike many other Pres. and candidates doesnt sweat cause to him life goes on whether he wins reelection or not. My read on him is he intends to do what he feels is right. If the Public buys it and reelects him thats fine. If the Public doesnt buy it and he is defeated then thats their loss. Frankly, I like a President who makes up his mind and follows it without reading polls daily or tea leaves or whatever most of them do. Last one I remember doing this lately was Reagan. Before that, Ike and Trueman. So, they are a relatively rare breed. jdn

This is just ANOTHER example how you can RIG poll results with the right questions.
"George W. Bush’s job performance, with 48% saying it is excellent or good and 52% saying fair or poor. "

In this poll they lumped FAIR with POOR. And called both NEGATIVE. Hell, I am a Bush supporter and OVERALL even I would say FAIR, all things considered but I dont consider that a NEGATIVE. jdn
