Don't sneer, but Stone Hill Winery's (Hermann, MO) Seyval white and Norton red are delightful. The Seyval is a cross between a pinot grigio and a chardonnay - very smooth. The Norton is similar to a cabernet sauvignon.

For those who may not know it, Stone Hill was the 2nd largest producer of wine prior to Prohibition and possesses the largest underground vats in the country. They have won many awards recently.
