Duke, Going back even beyond Graham, Leach Blily of 1999 is the PSLRA of 1995. This should have set of waves of revulsion among the "investor" class and those who are relying on Wall Street to protect their pension nest eggs. But there was hardly a murmur. The dismantling of consumer/public protections by Wall Street and Congress is an astonishing thing to me. It's as if the general public is sleep-walking without a clue as to the danger they are in when in the company of the wolves of Wall Street.
