As China grows, US return to its 'natural' size. Hence the overtaken will happen. As I point out, if the US keeps up importing people, it's return to 'natural size' will be delayed. Which doesn't mean the US will be less rich or small it is just realative. The beauty of the US is that they import all kinds of DNA into their borders and make them work for the progress of the country. China has only Chinese DNA to propel itself. It will come a time that they will lack the new blood, new ideas, new guts to help them growth.
