With an understanding of the impact of the propensity to save: Consider the idea of baby boomers saving for retirement, throughout the industrialized world. A bit of a megatrend deflationary force? All the money already saved is a pool of inflation waiting to be unleashed? Heeding the call to increase America's savings rate is a call to reinforce the deflationary forces possibly in play?
