I cannot imagine any American hates Bush more than the terrorists. That is just too bizarre

What the rest of the world thinks, however, is that a Bush-led America is more dangerous to the world than terrorism.

That's a much different statement, with vastly different implications than the spinmeisters at the Pentagon would like. It means less intervention, not more.

Bush's new policy speech amplifies that.

It's a global version of someone standing at your doorstep saying, "We're from the Government, and we're here to help you!".

I.e., "We're from the U.S.A., and we're here to help you! (whether you like it or not)"

It also says to Americans to get ready for a permanent state of war and the centralization of control that implies.

Expect more and greater terrorist incidents between July and November of next year.

It is indeed bizarre!! However, listen to the statements made by many, including some of the columnists and articles printed here...things like "Bush lies," etc...
