Former prisoner of war Jessica Lynch accused the military of using her capture and dramatic nighttime rescue to sway public support for the war in Iraq

Now do you honestly think this is a direct quote from Jessica or is the AP writer using her position to take liberties with the truth?

There are so many out of context statements coming from the media lately that I really don't believe most of them unless I hear it from the person's mouth. It is a fact of life and the real problem with these kinds of tactics......they make sceptics out of us.

It will be interesting to hear why Jessica thinks it was "wrong" for the military to document her rescue, and I really wouldn't be surprised if the article took that statement out of context also. The Iraqi Attorney who reported her position in the hospital to coalition forces recently spent a day in Palestine W. Va. to receive awards and thanks from the towns people. For some reason, Jessica refused to see him.

Do let us know if you manage to see the interview.

including phony "dramatic video footage of U.S. commando whisking " her from the Nasiriyah hospital in a "rescue" attempt that turned out to be as staged as a made-for-TV movie that it was intended to be.

How about sharing your personal eyewitness account.
I would love to ooh and ahh with you over the details.
What was your role? Tell us just what was real and what was phony!!!
Or is your post just another made for the internet rendition of facts as you dreamed them?

Please do nor tell me that photography and filming of this mission were extraordinary...In SpecOps, film has been quite ordinary forever. A teams have carried cameras on every mission since I got my G Beret in 62...What is sometimes different today is that the film is released to the media.

And please give Jessica a break...This soldier was wounded, had numerous broken bones all over her body, had been sexually abused and deprived all pain meds...Her memories are distorted or by her own admission non-existent.

It may not mean much to you or even to her...But I assure you the rescue of one wounded American soldier from a battlefield or improper imprisonment is a helluva big deal to the guys who perform the rescue and the personnel in the attacked unit.

Jessica is not yet recovered and already has hooked up with the liberal media...Give her a chance to get well...(and remember you heard it here first)...Eventually she will clearly see the importance of her rescue mission.
