There's no doubt that the new moves will very much inhibit America's ability to do as it pleases in Russia itself and especially with Russian oil.

Russia is also moving troops etc to the Central Asian republics to demonstrate its unease with US actions there too.

Surely the main reason the US is releasing such propaganda is to prepare everyone for atrocities of their own. At least Saddam was an Iraqi who killed his own people for whatever reason --- but what excuse does the US have? The US shouldn't be in Iraq in the first place.
