Bushies never wanted the UN involved, they lied about that. They could have struck a deal but were intentionally so arrogant and were in such a rush they blew everyone else. Now our angry allies are returning the favor. Bushes got what they wanted, the mid-terms and Iraqi oil. Unfortunately, we have to pay for it all including with the blood of our servicemen. If they had kept their promises we would not be where we are today in Iraq, which is a hopeless quagmire. Bush Sr. did it right during the Gulf War, but his son was an amateur following the advice of hard-line oil-grabbers.
