if no democracy movement to speak of in Iraq after 7 months of occupation, and no large scale Islamic shrinery mecca activity...

then how democracy in Saudi, with the world's greatest Islamic shrines, where millions flock annually, countless Wahabbi schools, established systems, numerous Al Qaeda regional offices, fund raising collectors (extortionists), zero history of democracy, unending history of tribal leadership, 60 years of monarch history ???

this is an extremely easy prediction:
BEFORE SUMMER 2005, MAYBE JANUARY 2006, THE HOUSE OF SAUD WILL DISINTEGRATE
THEY WILL FLEE TO GENEVA AND LONDON WITH OVER $100 BILLION
THEIR VOID WILL BE FILLED BY THE MOST RADICAL FUNDAMENTALIST ISLAMIC CLERIC GOVT SINCE IRAN'S UNDER THE AYATOLLAH
WITH VAST OIL RICHES AT THEIR DISPOSAL, A CLERICAL COUNCIL WILL SEEK OUT NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN CLANDESTINE FASHION

oil prices will spike to $60-70 during this process
an even chance that oil prices will spike toward $100/bbl
but clerical councils will emerge with some mgmt skill
prices will come back down after a shock

the US Military will stay clear
they will back off due to religious shrine locations, and the appearance of taking over a second oil-rich nation
but the new Saudi Fundamentalist state will become the most dangerous rogue nation on earth
and the US Military will come to regret their reticence

the positive effect from this coup will be the new alliance between US and Canada, to develop both oil & gas in Canada's western provinces and eastern maritimes
not 1 in 100 Americans is aware that western Canada contains as much crude oil as Saudi Arabia
