<Did you support Desert Storm?> Of course I did -- Iraq invaded a sovereign nation with cause -- much as we recently did when we invaded Iraq this past spring.

Good.. Then you should concur that if Iraq failed to abide by its cease fire obligations resulting from Desert Storm, and its invasion of Kuwait, that resumption of hostilities was justifiable to coerce compliance.

After all, UNSC 1441 was merely a statement acknowleging that Iraq was in material breach, and unless resolved, previous UNSC resolutions (cited and noted within 1441) would be reinitiated...

After all, there was no peace treaty between Iraq and Kuwait. Merely a cease fire, with a technical state of war being maintained until all terms of the cease fire agreement had been complied with.

You can't agree with the previous UNSC resolution lifting prohibitions against using force, while claiming that it didn't still apply within the construct of UNSC 1441.

It's all there in black and white, GST.. Don't believe me.. read it for yourself.
