We didn't need an excuse because legally, Hussein and Iraq were in violation of the 1991 truce, and the earlier authorization was still in force.

It is a last resort... we've been kissing the asses of those arabs for more than 60 years now, they still don't give an inch... now, saudi arabia's karma has come back to bite them... you have to realize that after 9/11, the gloves came off... no more mr. niceguy...
