We were there in '86 as I remember. Lots of homes that had been worth $50k were selling for $350k. People buying them as vacation homes and then spending another $350k to make them sound. No real changes, historic district thing.

The farm we hunted had been bought for $15 million. Why $15 million? Because it was next to deep enough water to park an 80' yacht 3 months a year.
