this fab financing is the entire issue for all the underweight ratings don't you think? I think the stock knows about this and is discounting it.

I can't imagine a fab with IBM as a partner being construed negatively by the marketplace in any way! In fact, quite the contrary, an AMD/IBM fab partnership would signal that IBM is every bit as excited about the long term prospects of "opteron-family" products as is AMD! and that can only be good for AMD's price, imo!!!
