There is no dichotomy between morals and legality.

I didn't suggest a dichotomy. There are acts that are considered immoral that have also been made illegal. There are other immoral acts that are not illegal. So once one makes a determination that something is immoral, one still has to further determine if that should be also illegal. Any good libertarian knows that. The latter requires an additional burden of justification. I made the point because it seems I have to keep reminding people that immoral and illegal aren't the same thing. In the case of abortion, individuals make their own moral decisions when they choose to have or not have one. It is a further step to impose a moral determination by law. I did not have in mind a dichotomy but a two-step process.
