Sounds great. After I read the 1000's of books around my house, that I absolutely must read, I'll get right on it :-)

men realized they had had input into the creation of the offspring and the "tonic effect it had on their egos."
So what an offense when women want to eliminate their contribution! :)

By the way, the other night I happened to turn on the sequel to Joe Millionaire, a show I managed to avoid completely last season. I seem to be watching more tv now that I am working so much more. I think it is because I fall on the couch and am too lazy to get up again.
Next it will be beerdrinking.
And then I will start listening to country music.
Anyway, the show was called something like Average Joe and instead of the handsome guy choosing a woman from a bevy of beauties, it is a beautiful girl choosing from a bunch of nerds and "average" guys. When I turned it on, they were doing these physical prowess things. Some of these guys were very overweight, some were just skinny and nerdy.
One cried. One (dunno how he got in there) was fairly attractive and well-built. He was exuding alpha male things. He came onto her and she let him. I thought he was absolutely horrible. You could tell he thought he was the greatest male around-- and she seemed to agree.
She eliminated the fat guys first. Boom, boom, boom.
Then she eliminated this very very nice gentle man who was partially deaf. The AWFUL thing about the way she did this was in saying how WONDERFUL he was, and that he had had such a softening effect on Mr AlphaMale! Is that insulting or what.
So Mr AlphaMale is still there, trying act a little tearyeyed after realizing that the Breeder Woman wants a touch of emotion in her choice.
Anyway, the program was a perfect example of what X wrote--that women, even if only subconsciously, like dominant aggressive men, the physically powerful ones, the one who is going to kill the tiger for her.
Here is this ditz is on national tv, KNOWING what she is doing, and she STILL is choosing based on looks and her body's reaction.
We are treated to such gems as (her to AlphaMale paraphrased of course) "I thought you were a real jerk at first. Now I see that you have another side."
And they start rolling around in front of a fireplace, flinging pheromones.

Oh gosh, I can't believe I have confessed I watched this.

SOCIAL RESEARCH!
That was it.
I was just trying to understand a society in which I feel more and more like an alien.

Think Neanderthal awakening, when men realized they had had input into the creation of the offspring and the "tonic effect it had on their egos."

LOL!!
