Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:

I, unlike your administration, reversed course, changed plans, and retraced my path.

As suddenly as I had airlifted massive deployment of precious Euro troops to the Yen space, I now sound the clarion call of retreat and instructed the troops to scramble out of what surely must be dangerous Yen space and rush back to the comfort that could be Euro-land.

I precisely retraced my way out of this earlier trade:

Hello Pezz, Today's Report:
I travelled from Hong Kong to Beijing, and had some quality time to contemplate the financial-scape while at 30,000 feet.

I gave the airlift orders to rapidly and massively deploy Euro soldiers, who had performed admirably so far, to the Japanese front. The units thus redeployed are enough to close out the Yen loan should it become necessary.

In the meantime, I see that my Japan occupation force stationed in NTT Docomo, Mitsubishi Finance, and Tokyo Mitsubishi Bank have all conquered new territory.

I am now thinking the previously unthinkable, the recapture of Softbank space
quote.yahoo.co.jp

By moving the Yen back to Euros, I mysteriously earned 6.6% in Euro terms, harnessing the energy that is locked in the grinding of cash against money, and the meshing of fiat against gold, just like the script dictated achamchen.com ;0)

Since July, if you recall, I have paid back my Yen debt, substituted it with a USD obligation, sold all my Japanese shares, and now, I leave behind only a small contingent of garrison cash in Japan as its governing authorities promise to intervene in the currency market to bring down S5B’s savings (in terms of worldwide purchasing power), and moved the bulk of warriors to Europe.

… and no, you do not need to remind me that I had mucked up the Softbank trade by losing faith, getting cowardly, and went AWOL.

<<Lookit Gold! ( taunting dance to AC an MQ ) Yippee!!>>

... Before signing off, I would like to direct you to a beautiful piece of music, to inspire you that tomorrow will be a better still day, where the pure of heart will once again enjoy undeserved gains Message 19496564

Hello Pezz, Afternoon Report:

I participated in the monthly get-together with the investment buddies during which each one must share one ‘good’ tradable idea.

You already know my anachronistic and tired ideas, involving wheat this, gold that, energy the other, and non-USD currencies.

I am parched for ideas based on which 2004 gains can be made.

Out of the 10 ideas bandied about across the lunch table, I particularly liked two, because the positions are in harmony with my worldview, involving wheat this, gold that, energy the other, and non-USD currencies.

And of the two ideas, one is adorably cute, irresistible, as in must have. It is absolutely delicious. KastelCo and cuddly all the 'closet' bear cubs will all absolutely no doubt agree with me once the idea is revealed. You will soon see :0)

I will be buying into them tomorrow. I will inform you on the whats and whys after I am in, and staring out.

Hello Pezz, Early AM Report:

I sold my long held Walmart at USD 55.30/shr at about 10% gain. I think the super duper large caps in the US market are a collective sell; and

I sold IVAN at USD 6.27/shr, at negligible loss to purchase price of 6.41 Message 19485024 <<November 10th, 2003>>. I will re-enter the game and participate in the controversy, in time.

Hello Pezz, Another Report:
I turned on the sound to the Bloomberg channel and then picked up some PPH finance.yahoo.com at 76.08/shr and bought PPH May 2004 Calls strike 80 at 2.40/shr (breaking my rule of not buying calls except to close).

Do not ask why I am doing both trades in the blend, because I have no idea.

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:

I purchase a tranche of (AUD 1.14/shr):
Australian Worldwide Exploration uk.finance.yahoo.com
AWE Corporate site awexp.com.au

Why? Its manager is honest, keeps buying shares in the company, and its valuation is decent relative to all the junk that is out there in energy-land.

I planted a whole granary worth (also about a tranche at AUD 4.15/shr, to start, which for me is aggressive) of:
Australian Wheat Board uk.finance.yahoo.com
AWB Corporate site awb.com.au

Why?

AWB appears to be a monopoly dealer of all things to do with farming, dealing from seeds to harvested grain, to financing the farmers on exorbitant terms even though holding full security in the form of land, buildings and such. Much of what it earns have more to do with financing than with grains, but the grains are nice too.

I like AWB.

I like its business of renewable commodities with large market share, I prefer its not-too-financially-astute customers, I appreciate its relative anonymity, I am OK with its valuation, I relish its rich dividend yield, and I adore its currency regime. This appears, to all appearances, to be as good as it gets :0]

AWE appears to be a textbook perfect vehicle for exploiting the peasants of Australia :0)

I also get a chuckle out of its relation of symmetry to my, which I may not have mentioned before ;0), one Canadian holding called Saskatchewan Wheat Pool uk.finance.yahoo.com ;0)

Hello Pezz, Tonight's Report:
Fiddling around and feeling restless, I tagged along on this MSSN trade Message 19501456 and bought at 1.75/1.76

I hope to do better this time than last time Message 19397121 <<October 13th, 2003>> :0)

Hello Pezz, Early Morning Report:

I reversed this trade Message 19501658 <<November 14th, 2003>> by selling MSSN at USD 1.83/shr, earning a few dinners; and

I bought and closed my TLT March strike 80 Put at USD 1.15 Message 19265537 <<September 2nd, 2003>>, earning a few more dinners.

Hello Pezz, Today’s Report:

I decided to and did do the almost unforgivable. I sold my worth-less Sinotrans at HK$ 3.55/shr, for a 3.4% loss, and sold my worth-more TravelSky at HKD 8.10/shr for a 11.72% gain.

My aggregate net gains of the not-unworthwhile but certainly not-so-related pair-trade is in the high 6.x% over 10 days elapsed time.

But, gad or yikes, so much for rebuilding my untimely-depleted China portfolio ;0)

It just simply is not feeling right, in the US and the Asian/China markets, which just means it is time to trim sail, adjust the rudder, batten down hatches, and find the life jacket, making sure the survival beacon is functional.

Hello Pezz, Afternoon Report:
I have started to rebuild my untimely-depleted China portfolio:

Purchased a tranche of Sinotrans finance.yahoo.com at HKD 3.675/shr. It is the ex-monopoly courier service now in league with DHL, servicing oodles of business clients; and

Purchased a tranche of Travelsky finance.yahoo.com at HKD 7.25/shr. It is the de-facto monopoly reservation system, serving growing domestic and outbound international traffic of folks.

Hi Pezz, I was just wandering around the net, without a care in the world, and yikes, cbs.marketwatch.com it looks like that my recent sale of Japanese shares and conversion of Yen to AUD was done precise spot-on right, timing wise, and direction otherwise.
