12:37PM Target warns Q4 may fall 'modestly' short of estimates (TGT) by Jennifer Waters
CHICAGO (CBS.MW) -- Target said Thursday the profit for the fourth quarter may fall slightly under the Wall Street analyst forecast of 90 cents a share. "It is more likely to fall modestly short of the current First Call consensus of 90 cents than to meet or exceed it," CFO Doug Scovanner told analysts on the third-quarter conference call. Shares of Target (TGT) were trading at $39.16, off 75 cents, or nearly 2 percent.
