LOL. I admire you should have the guts to be a passenger<g> of this driver. A lot of drivers are like him, but not all.

For plenty of Chinese professional drivers, to have strong will of taking the risk is one thing, to be half drunk while driving is another. many of them drink liquors with dinner, and sometimes even with lunch. Some who have a body system which can release alcoholic fast are ok, but some are not. There is NO strict regulation for the alcoholic level like the one in the US. In cities it is not too bad because of the severe traffic jam, but outside cities, it can be very dangerous.

Maybe he thought you have affiliations with Grand Prix or NASCAR and he wanted to be discovered.

Grand Prix and NASCAR are worthless, imo. It's a waste of time and money, but it's a popular American and European sport. It's a sport for societies with excess money to waste and burn. NASCAR is losing popularity in the US. They are not getting the big money sponsorship like they used to.
