I agree with you LT - $USD is bearish, but nothing goes down in a straightline - not even the Nasdaq!

I see Longer term momentum indicators as rising so we have some 'long-period cycle' support here.

If we break 90/400 I feel that we could get a good reversal anyway just not predicting timing and level.

This last gold rally 2-3 weeks was metals lead IMO not shares, but we will see.

Trust me, I am not shorting Gold.
I just feel that we have a good case for $USD vs. Fiat bounce here.

Depending how this day ends we may have an oversold hammer reversal in Dollar Index.
