I saw a drawing once, called "Freedom", which I think you would find interesting. There are two birds on two sides of a balanced scale, slightly above the sea. One is outside his cage and "free to go". The other bird is in his cage and will fall and drown if the first bird flies away. You can't help but wonder if the first bird, outside of its cage, is really "free"... ... all of which, of course, might be a little too deep for those of us who associate holding on to their gold at the cost of renouncing their nationality with being "free" :-)
