In terms of the economy, biotech is the "tomorrow" while IT is the "today". Oil is the "yesterday" if not "last century". And that's where the Bushies want to put us -- in the 1920's i.e. before there was Social Security and Medicare, before there was civil rights, and before women got the right to vote. That is their grand vision -- go back to the 1920's while the rest of the world moves forward.

kinda like buying any new technology in the third world... funny how that price gouging goes both ways. odd that those same countries that are paying less for medicine will tarrif any real competition for their own goods
