<<<The biggest problem is unemployment.>>>

Wrong, IMO. I'll agree that many times Blacks don't get a fair shake, there are racists doing the hiring at times. Do affirmative action type programs counter this injustice? Probably to some extent.

However, is it possible that unemployment is also a symptom of a greater problem?

Look man, a personal friend of mine owns 6 tractors and runs a nice trucking biz. He is Black and he worked his azz off to build his biz. This is an exact quote from him about 2 months ago. "The God damm shame of it is.... I'd love to hire my people. It never works, I'd rather hire Latinos, they're hungry, they show up every day. Brothers get paid, feel rich, their attitude changes. They always end up resenting me, thinking now that I've made it, I'll carry their unreliable butts"

Furthermore....the fact that the statistic of 70% of urban Black children born out of wedlock doesn't jump out at you as a monsterous problem tells me that you really understand very little about this subject. I encourage you to look a little deeper than the Democratic party's rhetoric.
