" he will put Clinton in charge of some aspects of middle east foreign policy "...

That's a good strategic move on at least two fronts.

One where Clinton is still regarded as one of America's best foreign policy experts, the other where Clinton just can't seem to get off the stage, and no one has a cane long enough to grab him by the neck and pull, stage left.

OH! And the other where his influence appears to still carry quite a bit of weight, and Dean could certainly use some of that weight against the Official DNC dittoheads.

Well, that's three, and I'm sure you can come up with more.

Like...he may actually bring the rest of the world together long enough to wrestle this terror nightmare to the ground, and have enough courage and influence to bring Israel And the Pals to some better understanding towards peace.

Stuff like that,eh?

KC

Clinton was an expert in applying band-aids to problems. But under his ME nursing charge, Al Qaeda grew, Iraq kicked out inspectors, Bin Laden bombed the Cole and African Embassies and tensions between Israel and Palestine heightened.

So if Dean simply wants to apply a band-aid, Clinton's the man.
