The answer is: Everyone gets the same insurance as their Senators. Anything else is second rate. Get rid of insurance companies, medical care gets paid for out of taxes. Insurance doesn't work for medical care; since everyone needs it sooner or later, spread the risk across the entire population. Insurance only works for relatively rare events, like fire, theft, etc. Of course, the Insurance Companies provide jobs and bucks to the politicians, so big changes are not going to happen. Until the health care revolution, that is. This system can't be patched much further. When the middle class can't afford health insurance, then we'll see some action.
