Great post, Mr. (Dr.?) Karlinsky.

Insurance is the problem, IMO. Cash cow for the CEOs just like all other big business in this country.

Well, I would be HAPPY to have the same insurance government employees have ESPECIALLY POLITICIANS however I dont think that is gonna happen. There coverage MUST be terribly expensive. For us all to have it and pay it out of taxes just means we would pay much higher income taxes. Course, if you dont have any income thats a good deal. haha. I'm afraid if we were to go the socialized medicine route instead of having coverage like the Politicians have we would get GRADE B shitty coverage and then not only have to pay higher taxes but go out into the market place and buy our own supplementary coverage. jdn

When the middle class can't afford health insurance, then we'll see some action.

Don't you think we are seeing that now?

And it is happening in concert with another huge disruptor, that is the state and local governments are all broke in part because the states are providing healthcare for more and more citizens many of whom are employed.

California recently passed legislation (which will surely be overturned) to require employers to provide healthcare. The real intent is to force large corporations to pay for their own expenses vs. what they are doing now... using "contractors" for labor who pay no benefits and low wages.
