Nadine, I will repeat what I said. During Desert Storm, the goal was to contain Saddam. The support to "contain" Saddam was worldwide. The coalition would have cracked if the US troops turned their march towards Baghdad. The people at he helm in the US then had saner folks such as Colin Powell and several others. Whoever hears about Colin Powell these days. He has been marginalized or probably he is waiting his turn to come after some of the folks make an arse of themselves. It is the dangerous axis of Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfwowitz these days and they have isolated the US in the eyes of the world.

You talk about demonstrations then. There is a significant difference between demonstration in the streets and shunning by world governments.
