To add to my own confusion... the BKX

A nice bounce off support at the lows today. Same RSI/ADX divergences as the other indices. However, a cleaner starting count. There's a clear long flat 2 wave there. Now, are we JUST starting the 4 off today's low... or has the past few days been an ABC with a decent contrast to the long dull 2?? How does one know?

There really is no solution to your confusion. Quite often stuff does not count cleanly, and not everything is always in sync. Again E-wave is not about getting the count right, but its about identifying those set-ups where the exit door is nearby. You think that's a flat building on the SPX the last 2 days? Great, then you know where to take your shot and you know what should happen afterwards, regardless of the larger count. Is it a '4' or a '2'? Who knows. Yeah you may want to know if we're heading for 990 or not but the market just won't tell you outright, so watching for decent volume reversals at support levels is all you can do.

Sadly, the market rarely offers easy answers.
