Hi Yiwu,

China is NOT joking!

Oh, I believe that. China has never been known to display much in the way of a sense of humor where Taiwan is concerned. However, whether the statements were merely rhetoric or a well considered threat likely matters very little to us investors. War is war, and as such, mostly there are only losers in a war. Neither side wins. One side loses a little less...

On a happier note, is Yiwu your first name or your last name? And are you male or female? I saw someone refer to you as a female, and I had always thought you were male.

Thanks.

KJC

Yiwu, I hope Hu Jintao is ready to get a big piece of China's history written by outsiders. You say Taiwan is now playing with fire. It's actually Hu Jintao's gang which is playing with fire.

Mqurice issues a warning to Hu Jintao:
Message 19523017

Fortunately for Hu, he has seen what happened in Iraq and Hiroshima, so he'll be somewhat circumspect about lighting a fire using accelerant.

When Taiwan wants freedom and democracy, then Hu Jintao can mind his own business. He'll get his clock cleaned. Trade is nice, but freedom and friends are better. He isn't being nice, threatening to kill people who just want to run their own show. A lot of people around the world don't take kindly to such threats.

Made in China will go down the gurgler in a big way. Shanghai's market capitalisation drop over a cliff. If you and Hu think that Armageddon would be fun, you should think again.

Imagine if in the exchanges, Hu was silly enough to launch one of his nukes against USA populations. China would then not have any more history to be written. China would be a blank page in history, with new settlers [after the radiation levels have dropped after a couple of decades] writing new history. Probably not in Chinese.

War can be so exciting. I hope Hu and you are ready if that's what you really want.

Maybe China should be joking, get a life and a sense of humour. <And China is NOT joking!>

Hopefully, those anodyne CDMA2000 phragmented photons suffusing the aether in China will cause Hu and co to feel the delightful effects in time to appreciate peace, light, harmony, happiness, health, prosperity, longevity, fun and love which is much nicer and even Confucian than threatening to kill people, which is very nasty of them.

They already made a big blunder this year by trying to hide the sars epidemic. They realized belatedly that they were wrong and apologized to the world for their stupidity. Hopefully they'll see the phragmented photon light in time and will apologize to Taiwan for such egregious and barbaric attitudes.

Writing China's history, even before it has happened,
Mqurice

PS: This is probably that dopey old fool Jiang Zemin causing trouble and Hu will have to pension him off completely. Jiang is a has-been who should be told to get lost. The same thing happened with sars. I can't believe Hu is such an idiot. He's probably letting Jiang's lot have enough rope to hang themselves.
