Hello Pezz, Report:
I felt restless and so decided to tap into the NEM ATM and abscond with some pocket money, so as to better enjoy my upcoming January holiday.

I shorted a dollop of NEM March Put strike 40 at USD 1.75/shr; and
I shorted two dollops of NEM Dec Put strike 42.5 at USD 0.95/shr.

I am figuring that:
(a) The FED and Administration of the Empire will keep the deluge coming, thus almost guaranteeing that any broad US equity market dunking will be temporary;
(b) NEM, as a part of the broad market, if dunked, will bounce back;
(c) The deluge will tend to raise NEM and its siblings in the tide in any case;
(d) The USD will decline, but given the FED and other Central Banks’ insurgency, will only decline gently, allowing lots of time to flirt repeatedly with NEM and its derivatives;
(e) But given that the USD will decline, either gently or cataclysmically, NEM will do well as a big solid portfolio reset-button; and
(f) Besides, NEM options trade is my hobby, and further more, I have a bunch of NEM about to be called away tomorrow :0)

Forecast Report:
The following options will expired in the money tomorrow, some of my shares will be called away, and I will be able to book profit. All is as usual, booking free moolah :0)

Short HMY Nov covered Call 12.5 @ 1.90-1.95
Short NEM Nov covered Call 42.5 @ 1.35

The HMY option trade was a part of this achamchen.com covert plan:

Hello Pezz, Report: I cannot stop myself. I again faced down the fate of typical speculators and leverage up on the destiny of gamblers. It is the bull-market thing to do ;0)

I bought two tranches of Canyon Resources (CAU) at 3.61/shr

I'm talking about quality of life, pezz. Nothing wrong the genetic material doing what is possible with the availability of food. Problem is that it goes unchecked for a couple of generations and then it hits.

It is about wquality of life. People accepts the smoke-police, don't they? We fly without smoke today and that's a benefit for all of us. Now if people are led to see that they weight carries a penalty, if deep vein trombosis has not led them to see this, then this raises consciousness of people towards geting fat.

What you eat defines how long you live. How you live, defines the quality of life in later life.
