Not a gun wielding cowboy but a pen savvy kind of guy." I think you mean someone who acted as Clinton did to the acts of terrorism during his Administration? I think he failed miserably & only emboldened the terrorists. I think most people in America think differently than you on this.

The only thing keeping Bush in office is terror. Without it, he has little to say, judging by Karl Rove's statements earlier this year, and the GOP ad running today; it'll be all-terror, all the time, until November. If the terror spots in the world suddenly pacified, he would have a jump in the polls, for about a month. JMO
