I am all for Colin Powell for President. So what if he is a Republican.

Powell is one of the main reasons for the present Iraqi mess. As Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, he didn't want us in Iraq at all in 91, and was the one who stopped it short. He has failed at every Foreign Policy effort he has tried. He will be gone in '05 after Bush is re-elected.

I think you are too impressed by flash. I had little use for Bush when he was elected. I believed the Democrats accusations about him. I like his FP actions since 911. Gore would have been a FP disaster, IMO.

For someone who is simple minded he sure got his agenda going in a hurry. Tax cuts in the first and second year, major reduction in nuclear weapons with Russia, education package passed, not too mention the war on terror.

Let's face it, know one could have gotten the French to support our invasion of Iraq. And anyone who believes otherwise is only kidding themselves.
