quehubo,
I'm not so sure you should be classifying RIG as a shallow water jack up driller. Granted they do have 22 jack ups in the Gulf but they also have 28 rigs capable of drilling over 4500 feet. I've been leaning heavy towards the natural gas land drillers NBR, PTEN, GW. But I'm beginning to worry that we may be running out of prime spots to drill. I'm beginning to think we should be looking more to the companies that are servicing older wells and depleted wells. It also seems to be looking awful good for Canadian Energy Trusts that are heavy into gas, if we are ever lucky enough to buy them at a reasonable price again.

Steve

Since RIG's web site is deepwater.com I think that you have them mis-characterized. Also RDC is focused on deep drilling in shallow water, <600ft. 85% of their rigs are in this category. Suggest you listen to their recent Banc America Energy Conf. presentation. It was last Monday and the replay can be found at RDC's web site.
