Joan, are you an active participant in the farm, or just a holder of value? In the area where I come from I believe farm land value has been somewhat constant, for some years now. Some have been forced to sell, but there have been enough others willing to add, to kind of keep things even. Some of the operations have become literally huge, compared to when I was a youth. The recent rise in cattle prices has been nice to see, as I think these folks have had it rough for some time, and get the least gov't help of any.
