Simple. When it comes to choosing between a child's life, and the interests of corporations, "cheap labor" conservatives unhesitatingly cast their votes in favor of the latter.

Remember how they had to be dragged kicking and screaming to support the Family Medical Leave Act? And many of them voted against it. So much for all their "pro-family" talk. It is all talk. Nothing more.
