I like my Avalanche and the 03's can be had without all the plastic crap. It is not a replacement for a pickup though. I thought I could live with the difference in box size but I can't. Back to the 3/4 ton crew cab but with a diesel next time.

Market is just consolidating away. Leads me to believe tomorrow will be up nicely for the holiday. History pans that out also I believe.

I gave in to the deals.

Opted out of my '01 Ford Escape in
favor of an '04 GM Trailblazer, which is a larger
vehicle.

Out the door it cost me only around
$2000 more than the Escape.

Buying it was like going to a Macy's sale.

$3000 GM rebate
$375 GM rebate (to help with license fee)
$750 (extra coupon our sales guy had laying around)
$1000 GM card rebate (GM upped the points to $1k)

I also had some extra additional rebate
points on another credit card, which I have
to send in.

Incredible!

From what I've heard and read, you might want to consider a Sequoia.
