I don't know the current numbers. But over much of the past decade California spent as much on its prison system as it did on its educational system. And Californians are still morally profligate and dumber than a pot of chitlins. And America, a free nation, imprisons more per capita than other countries. Well, apart from her being more prestigious than other countries, America has more to steal than the others. She has more illegal immigrants, more people who break the law and who have a stake in continually breaking the law. If she even moderately tries to enforce her law, it is reasonable that she will incarcerate more people than other nations. There's something wrong with this picture. It ain't the way it really ought to be! I agree. People really ought not break the law. Hey, I like the idea of helping to build your neighbor's house even though your own is falling apart. Typical leftist thinking. Not surprising at all. But think seriously. Should we really be doing this in Iraq? Yes. And were oil not involved would we be doing it all? We are doing it in Afghanistan and oil is not involved. We were doing it in Vietnam and oil was not involved. It is quite possible we would be doing it in Iraq, despite oil. Bush has a strategy for hacking rabid muslim infrastructure. It makes quite a bit of sense. The problem with leftists is they are unable to see the big picture and are too impatient to stop crying and let the adults run things.
