Perot didn't get elected. CLinton had no wars to deal with. Neither did Bush at first. So in those elections foreign and military experience weren't issues. They sure are now. Bush's whole campaign will be about military bravado. Someone has to expose him and take him to the woodshed on that but it cannot be a guy with zero experience. Dean just doesn't have any credibility. Just saying you were against a war doesn't amount to much in the national election. Remember too, most swing-voters are actuially supportive of the Iraq War as a concept. They just don't like the way it's been mis-managed.
