Reprehensible.

If true...I agree.

Unfortunately, money buys a lot of congressional votes.
But then, most folks vote their pocketbook too.

Any comments of outrage from the Right?

Just normal Congressional Politics, FL. Left or Right. Gets a little heated.

It proves if you are democrat or republican you follow party line because you cannot accomplish a thing in congress by your self... Didn't the minority leader of house threaten any democrat who voted for medicare bill.. It is the same on both sides.. You have to vote sometimes on bills you do not like to get your bill through that will accomplish the things you came to congress to get done.. If you get voted out then there is no chance at all.

We do not live in a perfect world but our congress seems to work although they are at each other all the time.

Good news and Bad news, FL...After the New Deal, it took 60 years.

Wonder if that sort of thing ever happened on the other side of the fence? <those are really naughty bad boys, aren't they?)

Of course it's an outrage, but unfortunately what is described is politics as usual. It can be a dirty game. While the brush in this instance tars the GOP, the Dems are not immune.
