Bush could have gone to Iraq without the Press, Reporters, Photographers etc - just to show support for the troops but then he would have missed the political publicity.

Dems all support Bush visiting the troops.
But I for one wonder if Hillary wasn't already there, would Andy Card and Karl Rove have supported the trip. Maybe it doesn't matter. If Hillary gets to act like a president in Baghdad and Kabul I guess Bush should try as well.
