Radioactive waste in regular landfills? Hmmmm... Leachate from such landfills can get into the groundwater and that'll show up eventually in your tap water. Don't they know about the concept of bio-concentration? Microbes absorb the radioactive elements... The microbes get eaten by bigger bugs, which get eaten by small animals and so on and so forth... And it gets into our food chain. Bushies think that God is on our side and protects us from everything in the environment (hence we can spew anything into it). Bushists here will naturally find some spin or denial... and their support of course will go unwavered no matter the damage.
