It is just so absurd that it actually takes away from the fight to get to the truth.

Once again, you will find the Bush "conspiracy" is quite modest. It is spelled out by the Project for a New American Century on their web site and position papers. Basicly the Bush advisors wanted a "New Pearl Harbor" event, and they thought they were going to get one in the form of a plane hijacking. They sent Bush away, had the air force stand down and waited. The actual event was more than they bargained for, but they ran with the plan anyway. It is generally the neocon supporters who then repeat it in an absurd exaggeration and then claim it's crazy. It's a classic strawman argument.

I saw Mrs. Connelly on Fox (A rare stop in my channel surfing). She gave a detailed and gripping account of holding her bleeding husband as she was hit by a spray of brain matter. There was no way to reconcile that vivid recollection with the idea of a single bullet causing Kennedy's head wound and Connelly's injury.
