Actually, the republican candidate for governor in LA was a very good guy, Bobby Jindal,(sp?) who had most of the major endorsements... it was quite an upset when he lost. I blame Bush for him losing, I think he would have made a good governor. But he's only in his 30s so plenty of time. La needs a little "cleaning up"... LOL.

If you're pinning your prediction of democratic gains to the La. Gov. race that is thin evidence compared to 2000 and 2002 elections, as well as re-call of democratic Gov. from hugely democratic state, CA.
